The pain is controlled. The swelling has gone down. And, quite frankly, she doesn't look like a person who had brain surgery just five days ago. So it is time to go home. Home to our house, our kitty, and our comfy bed. YES!
Now if I can just get caught up on my sleep.
I am so happy to hear that April's comfort is improving and she's going to be able to sleep at home in her own bed. I think that's the best medicine once she is helped by those amazing medical people! Sharon, you have done a wonderful job being her advocate and her lover and her friend. I hope the time now at home is peaceful and calm and you both get caught up on rest and hugs. I missed the whole day by day accounting because I'm so clueless about blogs so I got to see it all in a quick, positive, happy stream instead of sitting through every moment of concern as you did. You two are amazing! Congratulations! I'm so relieved that her future health is ensured! Sincerely, Suzanne and Bob Manchester (friends of Marisa Krol, in case you are wondering who we are!)
